We meet with you to listen and learn about your property and your dreams for your future home.
Our goal is to help you make your dreams a reality in a way that fits your desired investment and timeline.

Design It
We start this planning phase by working with one of our trusted architects and engineers to create your custom home plans.
Using initial sketches or plans you like, we create a custom home design that fits your family and lifestyle. 3D renderings are used to make sure you will love it!
We also create a customized budget that you can count on as we build your home!
Step 3
Build It
We start construction!
From Excavation to completion, we work together to build your dream home. With weekly meetings and regular communication, we keep you updated and involved with the progress, decisions to be made and current financials.
Upon the completion of your home we celebrate with a ribbon cutting ceremony and start your year of warranty care for your home.

Steve Stager has always believed that building a home is about more than walls and windows — it’s about creating a place where families can thrive for generations.
With years of experience in construction and a deep passion for healthy, high-performance building, Steve founded Glacier Peak Homes with a commitment to honesty, quality, and care in every detail.
He is known for his approachable leadership style, clear communication, and hands-on involvement in each project. Clients appreciate Steve’s ability to take complex building science principles and explain them in a way that feels simple and reassuring.
His goal is to make the homebuilding process both transparent and enjoyable, guiding families every step of the way.
Outside of building homes, Steve enjoys Montana’s mountains and lakes, time with his wife, Anna, and their 4 children, and the satisfaction of helping others see their dreams come to life. His dedication to both his craft and his community is at the heart of Glacier Peak Homes.

We absolutely love the home Glacier Peak Homes built.
All the interior finishes (cabinets, countertops, light fixtures and hardware) are beautiful and what we would have chosen if we were building a custom home. The trim work is outstanding with details such as mitered joints to “wrap” it around the rounded wall corners. We can’t say enough about the quality of the home.
With my husband being a retired custom home builder it’s no small compliment that he calls the structure above par! Our crawl space is completely sealed and dry, giving us extra storage space. We love everything about our home and appreciate the ability to ask questions.

While I haven't built a home with Glacier Peak Homes, I have consulted with Steve extensively on a home we're building elsewhere. Not only is he knowledgeable and kind, he offers real world solutions that make sense in today's economy and post-Covid building climate.
We have worked with some big names in the 'green/healthy home' world, but unfortunately we either couldn't get anyone who would implement their suggestions, or the cost was too extreme for it to make sense.
If we lived close to Kalispell we would not hesitate to build with Glacier Peak.
